Our history
FCM started as a LARP / HEMA group with several Military Veterans and Athletes who found a home at Sherwood Forest Faire. We added the beginnings of some basic stage combat to the Castle Siege show at that Faire. As the successes grew, we began to add more training both in Martial and Stage Combat. Along the way, we discovered the Society of American Fight Directors and other organizations and individuals that help us grow, learn, and most importantly THRIVE. Our passion for the arts and history has led us to not only perform around Central Texas but to help share this learnable art form to anyone interested. Our approach
At FCM We follow interactive approach combining techniques and styles from all over the world. Informed and Consent based training, with Lecture on techniques followed by practice to build muscle memory and comfort.
